We teach professionals how to conduct a successful consultation, with each and every client, in such a manner that will ultimately lead their business to the top. Mimi brings a different background to PSS. She has worked for over 30 years in numerous executive roles in a variety of businesses; namely in the medical and educational industries. Her organizational skills as well as her structure and detail expertise have resulted in her taking on the responsibility of coordinating and managing the many positions within the corporation. In addition, Mimi oversees all areas of PSS’s production: planning, directing, and coordinating the development and manufacturing of all products created by PSS. In 2012 she was recognized by the National Association for Professional Women as “Woman of the Year” for demonstrating excellence and dedication within her profession.
Mimi Herrin McCarthy VP of Production
Emmy has worked in the beauty industry for over 20 years. She started her career as a stylist behind the chair and went on to become a Salon Consultant for more than 10 years working for large manufacturers throughout the United States. To PSS she brings a wealth of knowledge of the beauty industry as well as her acquired technical and researching skills. She oversees and coordinates IT, marketing, and advertising. In addition, she is responsible for supervising new venues and investigating opportunities to foster PSS’s growth and development. She shares Jeanne’s vision to help others be the best that they can be in their careers.
Jeanne Degen President/CEO
Jeanne has been a leader in the beauty industry for more than 33 years. She brings her expertise to the salon industry in an exciting and unique style. She is a successful educator, trainer, stylist and former salon owner herself. Now she has created Positive Salon Strategies, a salon consulting company that delivers easily accessible, proven business strategies for salon professionals. Jeanne’s background includes Director of Operations and Education at Fantastic Sams International Corp, where she assisted franchisees nationwide to increase salon revenue. She has held positions at internationally acclaimed companies, including Brand Manager at Artec in support of Goldwell Distributors, National Director of Education at ISO and National Education and Sales Manager at Helene Curtis. She has hands-on stylist experience and has performed platform work with some of the most elite platform artists in the industry. Most importantly, Jeanne is thrilled to realize her dream of supporting the growth and prosperity of the salon community through her company, Positive Salon Strategies.
